What if...
We’ve always loved outdoor adventures and staying at unique Airbnb rentals. From yurts to treehouses to shipping containers, we were fascinated by the building and creative side of short-term rentals.
We intended to own one after we retired but with the pandemic, there was no better time to start a new hobby.
After loads of research, we purchased the Olympic Lake House in July 2021 and launched in August. Somehow, we wildly did it again with Rainier Mountain House in December 2021 and launched in January 2022!

It’s been such a unique journey to become Airbnb and VRBO hosts. We’re still learning everyday on how to be great hosts, run two short-term rentals and build memorable experiences for our guests —all while balancing everything else in our lives.
Maybe one day, we’ll complete our cabin collection with one more house near North Cascades National Park, Washington.

We're originally east coast Canadians that has fallen in love with the PNW. We're excited by the plentiful things to see and do in great outdoors and Washington's beautiful national parks, Mount Rainier National Park and Olympic National Park.
Karen is a full-time creative designer, while Calvin works in construction & remodelling. Together, we tackle one project at a time to make your rental stay one-of-a-kind.
